STEWARTBY BRICKWORKS WORKING IN 2007

London Brick Brickworks at Stewartby in Bedfordshire, November 20th 2007 from the air, with smoke belching from the chimney's. This is the last known aerial shot of this brickworks working. Days later this site was closed down. The brickworks were manned by Italians after WWII, this was the beginning of Bedford's Italian community. An iconic and historical image from Bedfordshire.
