Sun Setting on Stewartby Brickworks

MONDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2021, STEWARTBY BRICKWORKS, STEWARTBY, BEDFORDSHIIRE, UK. As we prepare for thee demolition of the last 4 chimnies at Stewartby, we had a memorable sunset today, as if it was a farewell.

A great many Italians worked at the Stewartby Brichworks, which gave them the right to stay in the UK. Many started work here having been prisoners of war at the end of WWII.
